What is an Experience with Ms. K?
Every little one is different…and that’s part of the fun!
Imagine the excitement of a familiar face from the screen suddenly coming to life and interacting with your little one right in front of their eyes!
This is a playful, interactive Ms. Rachel-style experience where children AND grown-ups get to join in the fun. Familiar songs, stories, toys, movement, conversation, expressions and plenty of silliness can all become part of the experience as we interact together.
But there’s no rigid show or exact script to follow. Some little ones are ready to sing, dance and chat the second I arrive. Others may want to sit together, show me a favorite toy, read a story or take a little time to warm up. It’s all okay!
The interaction naturally follows your little one’s personality, interests and comfort level, which means every experience gets to be a little different.
No pressure. Lots of interaction. And plenty of reasons to say YAY!
Meet Ms. K!
Believe it or not, I didn’t exactly set out to do this. Other people started planting the idea for me!
For years, people in my everyday life and even guests at the trivia shows I host have told me how much I remind them of Ms. Rachel. Yes, there’s a physical resemblance, but it goes beyond that. My voice, inflection, enthusiasm and naturally bubbly way of talking and interacting with people are remarkably similar. People who meet me are also constantly convinced I must be a preschool teacher. (I’m not!)
But the personality behind all of this is completely me. I’m a natural encourager, everyone’s personal cheerleader, and I genuinely love interacting with little kids… being silly with them, encouraging them and seeing what happens when you really get down on their level and give them your full attention.
Eventually I started wondering what might happen if I took all of that natural enthusiasm, encouragement and interaction and created something especially for little ones.
And that’s how Can You Say YAY! with Ms. K came to be!
